La Mahzen is Among The Greatest Wine Cellars Of The World

Published by the Swiss Braun Publishing, one of the most prominent publishing houses globally, the book “Sommeliers' Heaven: The Greatest Wine Cellars of the World” now features LA Mahzen among the best wine cellars in the world. The editor of the book, Paolo Basso, who has won the “Best Sommelier of the World” title presents a total of 66 wine cellars from many different geographies, ranging from Europe to South America.

Born in Italy, Paolo Basso, won the title “Best Sommelier” twice in 2010 in competitions that were held in Europe and Chile. In 2013, Paolo Basso was named the ‘Best Sommelier of the World’ for the third time in the competition that took place in Japan.

To have a Turkish Wine Cellar, LA Mahzen, named as one of the greatest 66 wine cellars in the world in a book written by Basso, who has won the world’s best sommelier title for 3 times, is both a great honor and also a significant proof as to how much Turkey has thrived in this sector over the years.
